01 - How do I join my loved one’s family on OdessaConnect?

There are two ways to join:

1. Ask a staff member at your loved one’s community (typically the Activity Director or Concierge) to invite you. Here’s how the invite process works. Learn more »

2. Ask a family member that is already active and using the OdessaConnect mobile app to invite you. Learn more »

02 - Is the OdessaConnect mobile app free?

03 - How many family members can I invite?

You can invite an unlimited amount of family members.

04 - Is there a limit to how many photos, messages and videos I can send?

You can send unlimited messages, photos, videos and YouTube links to your loved one.

05 - What does my loved one see when I send them a photo, message or video?

06 - What if I can’t or don’t want to use the mobile app?

The OdessaConnect mobile app is recommended but not required to send content to your loved one. If you’d like to use our web interface to send content, email us at hello@odessaconnect.tv and we will configure your account.

07 - Do my photos, messages and videos ever expire?

Text-only messages, videos and YouTube links that you send to your loved one’s TV expire after 30 days. Photos never expire and are always available to view in the family photo album.

08 - Can my loved one respond to the content I send them?

Yes! Residents can respond with a “thumbs up” to let you know they received the message. They can also respond with a voice message. Learn more about resident responses to your content »

09 - Who can send content to my loved one’s TV?

Only Family Members that have joined your family and specific staff at your loved one’s community can send content. As an example, the Activity Director at the community will send messages and photos to all of the residents.

10 - What are the benefits of downloading the OdessaConnect mobile app?

The OdessaConnect mobile app enables family members to receive updates from the community, view the dining menu/activities/newsletter, communicate with their loved one, and invite more family members.
